Thermal Battleaxe
Imperial thermal weapon · two-handed standard / one-handed variant
- Thermal core superheats the edge past 300 °C — slices contemporary armor
- Integrated handle cooling — no thermal feedback; sustained combat without protective gear
- One-handed variant: compact, fast, concealable; doubles as a utility tool
Signature Imperium-made weapon combining devastating power with simple operation. The two-handed standard balances proprietary Imperial alloys for durability against lightness; the thermal core does the rest.
The one-handed variant was originally built for female officers who needed a manageable weapon without sacrificing effectiveness. Many male operatives adopted it for finesse missions — weapon and utility tool in one grip.

Járn
Double-bladed thermal axe · Imperial ceremonial commission · Sigrun Fjeld
- Norse knotwork in Damascus-pattern steel · gold-inlaid runic blessings along the fuller
- Thermal edge cauterizes as it cuts — enemies don't bleed out before they've talked
- Demands no Aether — a natural extension of eleven years of muscle
- Maintenance: sharpened weekly
Sigrun’s go-to weapon. A double-bladed axe blending Imperial thermal technology with traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship, originally commissioned by the Imperium as a ceremonial gift for Nordic Commonwealth dignitaries. Prefect Dilinur Altai discreetly liquidated it from the Imperial archives as a “culturally inappropriate gift.”
Unlike Baldr, Járn demands only strength and will. Its brutal simplicity matches her fighting style: direct, efficient, survivalist.

Zephyrium Sword
Zephyrium-treated longsword · Zorian Covenant standard blade
- vs organic targets: Zephyrium disrupts cellular regeneration at the molecular level — Radi-Mon wounds heal far slower than their biology allows
- vs inorganic targets: nearly useless — the disruption does nothing to metal alloys or mineral composites
The Covenant’s standard blade against the Radi-Mon threat. Its entire design philosophy is biological: a Zephyrium sword is a poor tool against a bulkhead and a devastating one against anything that regenerates.

Justice
Covenant longsword, Jorvik Viking variant · New Lister Mills · Marcus Thorne
- Effective against unarmored Radi-Mons and light combat armor
- Standard psionic conductivity — no special abilities
- Struggles against heavy plating
Marcus’s go-to weapon: a standard Covenant longsword, Jorvik Viking variant, forged at the New Lister Mills workshops. Issued at his Stalwart initiation, shortly after his mother’s death. “Justice” is not official — Marcus chose it during his voyage to Mars to replace the factory designation.

Titanium Shield
Layered titanium shield · Covenant Stalwart signature equipment
- Layered construction dissipates kinetic energy — effective from slug-throwers to modern gauss rifles
- Melee weapons leave superficial scoring · Radi-Mon claws typically cannot penetrate
- Critical weakness: no defense against psionic attacks — Eclipse fire, Lunar gravity and Mirage illusions pass straight through
“Faith shields what metal cannot.”— Covenant doctrine
Signature equipment of Covenant Stalwarts, manufactured in the Jerusalem III and Warsaw forges. It is very good at exactly one thing — stopping matter — and Covenant doctrine is honest about the rest.

Bulwark
Hospitaller-pattern kite shield · Solar Brothers, Jerusalem III · Marcus Thorne
- Projects Solar barriers from the shield face — extends Marcus's natural abilities through a larger, more stable surface; does not amplify them
- Battle damage retained: Skuggr acid pitting along the bottom edge · three parallel Bone Fiend claw gouges across the upper quadrant
“Scars prove service.”— Marcus Thorne, declining Manny's offer of full restoration
Titanium construction balances protection with mobility, designed for Stalwarts who hold lines while channeling Solar psionics through the shield face. Physical and psionic defense in one piece of kit — which, for a man with Marcus’s Agility, is the whole plan.

Moonstone Cutlass
75 cm curved blade · former Emerald Directorate naval issue
- Critical Edge — curve and balance excel at armor gaps
- Quick Draw — light, rapid deployment
- Psionic Conductivity — the regolith allows Aether channeling
- Weighted pommel battery: 3–5 powered, energy-enhanced strikes before recharge
A versatile single-handed blade popular among bounty hunters, mercenaries, and colonial militia. Lunar regolith worked into the metal during folding gives the blade its pearl-white shimmer — and the psionic conductivity that made it Directorate naval standard before it went civilian.

Sankofa
Moonstone Cutlass · Directorate craftsmanship · Jabari Adomako
- Veins of blue energy pulse faintly when drawn
- Pommel battery upgraded: 8–10 powered strikes per charge (standard: 3–5) — a parting gift from the weaponsmith
- Bronze-gold guard worked with Adinkra symbols · worn leather grip
Jabari’s Moonstone Cutlass. The guard carries its previous owner’s story in Adinkra, and the name carries the Directorate’s oldest instruction — go back and fetch what was left behind.

Soma Dagger
Grown bio-crystalline blade · Rakshasa Horde and allies
- Harder than conventional steel
- Bioluminescent veins pulse faintly with the wielder's Aether
- Cultivation: a seed-crystal in nutrient beds enriched with fusion waste, fed three drops of the intended wielder's semen or vaginal fluid weekly for three months
- Needs no repair · slowly degrades if separated from its bonded wielder for weeks to months
A grown blade unique to the Rakshasa Horde and its allies, cultivated from specialized fungi and crystalline plants native to Shashan. Every Soma Dagger is a one-owner weapon by construction: it grows on the wielder’s fluid and fades without them.

Kage
Amethyst Soma Dagger · 30 cm blade · Fuuka Natsukawa
- Parrying weapon and close-range strike tool
- Pierces light armor · struggles against heavy plating
- Growth patterns unique to Fuuka's genetic signature and Mirage affinity
Cultivated during Fuuka’s early decades in Proxima Centauri. The blade will be retired as she acquires more powerful Soma Daggers grown from rarer materials; she will likely keep it as a backup and a sentimental reminder of her early Mirage training.

Karma Spear
Two-handed psionic spear · Imperium × Nordic Commonwealth joint design
- Spell conduit: cast through the crystallized tip — the spear is aiming instrument and focal lens (any psionic school)
- Melee and ranged spell discharge in the same motion, no weapon switching
- Standard Aether cost · no potency amplification (that is the Psi Fan's job)
- Blade color by affinity, as the Nucleus Sword · inert and translucent in a non-psion's hands
- Two-handed · length is a liability in tight spaces · tip can fracture under sustained heavy impact (specialist repair)
A collaboration between Queen Maren’s weapons scholars and the Pak dynasty of Choson, seeking a martial weapon that channels spells without sacrificing melee lethality. Reinforced alloy shaft wrapped in treated leather; geometric knotwork on the crossguard; Aether conduit veins running the shaft’s full length.
Nordic specimens are few and mostly pre-Fenris; the Imperium equips its Lord Conjurers and elite officers. Exceptional spears are named by their wielders and treated as heirlooms.

Kṛpā
Void-attuned Karma Spear · forged by Ivar Lindqvist & Olav · Zhi-Xin Wu
- Void spells (Pierce Beyond, Nullification) discharge through the crystallized tip — psionic reach for a fighter with Power: 1
- Cannot harm Nordlings — Ivar encoded the limit into the Zephyrium crystallization (Draugs do not count)
- Blade permanently green — Void-attuned since the bonding at Camp Yusuf
“Pappa's Pointy Stick.”— Håkon, who also approved the real name
Among the confiscated arms on display in Jin Syue’s facility, it was the only weapon that responded to proximity — its Zephyrium tip flickering when Sigrun passed. The spear chose Xin during the incident at Camp Yusuf: after Ivar pushed him free of Lokki’s trap, it manifested physically beside Xin’s bed, blade permanently green. Håkon concluded the spear “wants to help Pappa.”
Xin chose Devavāṇī for the name, “a powerful language that, according to old Earth stories, was used by butterflies and celestial women.” Håkon — “Magic words for flutter-bys?” — approved immediately. He pronounces it “Kuh-pah.”
In practice Xin fights at range with Jade and closes with Kṛpā only when the situation demands it, or when allies need covering fire through a focal point.
The spear was built by a man who sacrificed everything for love and can never contact the woman he died for. It was handed to a stranger who raises another man's child. It kills the dead and spares the living. The name fits.

Glacial Hammer
Nordling warhammer · primordial Europan ice · one- and two-handed variants
- Harder than steel · retains ancient cold
- Targets frozen by repeated strikes become brittle enough to shatter completely
- Devastating against Radi-Mons — regeneration is useless once biomass is scattered as frozen debris
- One-handed and two-handed variants
Pre-Fenris ceremonial weapons of the Commonwealth’s elite honor guard. Only those who “earned the cold” — surviving extended Europa sub-ice deployment — could wield them. The hammers outlived the honor guard.

Nucleus Sword
Psionic Blade · Aether-driven · 21st-century design
- Blade color by affinity: quantum blue Lunar · gold Solar · red Eclipse · purple Mirage · green Void
- No external battery — the wielder's heartbeat sustains ignition
- Dormant after years of neglect; reactivate with fresh semen or breast milk poured into the cylindrical core
- Limit: 2 h continuous use before rest · 3 h+ risks hypothermia and permanent heart, brain and mental damage
“I am lovable. Someone in this universe—their heart needs me, their body is waiting for me.”— The conviction a wielder's heart must hold
A 21st-century invention that ended World War 3. The sword harnesses psionic energy through the interplay of human DNA and quantum mechanics — which is why it answers to people, not to power cells.
Wielder requirements. A psionic wielder who has lost their virginity and carries the crystalline DNA sequences in their cell nucleus that enable Aether channeling. The wielder’s heart must house the firm emotion quoted above. Without it, the blade is a silver cylinder.
Familial Resonance. The core answers to love, not its category. Romantic connection delivers the sharpest charge; firm protective love — child, sibling, found family — sustains ignition just as surely. The one requirement is direction: the love must reach toward someone. Self-regard, possession, and duty without warmth read as static; the blade fails on them.

Baldr
Nucleus Sword · Jotunheim Institute build · Sigrun Fjeld
- Harmonious Resonance — serene wielder: soothing frequency calms allies and pacifies hostiles; can defuse tension and aid negotiation
- Harmonious Resonance — heightened aggression: disruptive frequency disorients enemies
- Activate: “Baldr, virkjaðu” (VIRK-yah-duh) · Sleep: “Baldr, sofðu” (SOV-thoo) — Jǫturmál
A uniquely engineered Nucleus Sword created by the Jotunheim Institute. An Echo Sapphire — a rare gem — set in the silver hilt acts as the conduit for Sigrun’s psionics. Where Járn carries no memories, Baldr carries all of them: emotionally burdening, drawn only when the situation has already gone past axes.
// Known Specimen 02
Imugi
Eclipse-attuned Nucleus Sword · Imperium royal variant · Prince Joon-Seok Pak
- Activate: “Imugi, uttiṣṭha” (oot-TISH-tha — rise) · Sleep: “Imugi, śāmya” — Devavāṇī
- Blade burns Eclipse red
이무기 — Imugi. An Eclipse-attuned Nucleus Sword of the Imperium’s royal line, forged in the North Korean lineage of the craft and named for the serpent that must prove itself worthy of becoming a dragon. Held by Prince Joon-Seok since 2286.
Iron Roach would have been the one to wield this famed weapon had Joon-Seok not received internal help from his father in Jin Syue to pass the Lord Conjurer Assessment.
// Known Specimen 03
Aušrinė
Solar-attuned Nucleus Sword · Covenant reliquary blade · no bearer approved
- Named for the Baltic morning star, herald of the dawn — a sister-symbol to Zori's own name
- Blade burns Solar gold
A Solar-attuned Nucleus Sword held as a Covenant reliquary. It waits under Zori’s seal in Svarog; as of 2295 no Stalwart has been judged worthy to carry the dawn.
// Known Specimen 04
Hongu
Void-attuned Nucleus Sword · Atayal-forged · hidden in Proxima Centauri
- Ignites only for Atayal Aether — lineage, or something that can stand in for it
- Blade burns Void green
A Void-attuned Nucleus Sword of Atayal forging, hidden somewhere among Proxima’s moons. Its activation is gated to Atayal Aether, and its name is a promise as much as a threat: the Rainbow Bridge admits only the worthy.
